We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) who offer accredited training under the Public Safety Training Package.
This training is delivered to an exceptional standard by highly skilled trainers, who not only have enormous industry specific expertise in their disciplines, but also nationally recognised training skills.
Our trainers pride themselves on developing people with non traditional learning styles or language and numeracy difficulties.
Our training is transportable across different industries, meaning the skills you obtain with us may assist you at your fulltime work. Examples are first aid, working in teams and maintaining safety. The other skills you learn such as scene assessment, briefing and debriefing and rescue skills will offer you transferable skills working in pressured environments or making time critical decisions.
Some individual specialist Squads don’t have a rescue training requirement, such as WICEN. There are roles and appropriate training available for anyone who is committed and willing to learn.
Support that you need for your VRA journey
Our membership is rewarding and provides a valuable and tangible way for you to contribute to your local Community and surrounds. It is of the utmost importance to the Commissioner and leaders at all levels within VRA Rescue NSW that you feel supported and welcomed into the organisation.
